He was born in Auckland, New Zealand and spent his early childhood there. His family moved to the small rural town of Timaru in New Zealand's South Island when he was 11. During high school, he began playing in rock-and-roll bands, but never aspired to a career as an actor. He had a passion for rugby and his dream was to play for the All Blacks, New Zealand's world-famous rugby team. At 17, Smith moved to Christchurch and worked at various jobs before enrolling in Canterbury University at the age of 20. He married his childhood sweetheart, Sue, and stumbled into acting literally by accident when he suffered a concussion playing college rugby in 1987. He was forced to sit on the sidelines for nearly three weeks and during that period, Sue saw a casting call ad for the touring company of Are You Lonesome Tonight, the musical tribute to Elvis Presley, and signed Kevin up for an audition. He landed the part of one of the bodyguards and was understudy to the lead. He played in a number of alternative rock bands in New Zealand, including being one of the lead singers of The Wide Lapels, a local band which inspired rave reviews and a devoted following for its camp renderings of the worst songs of the '70s -- songs like Take a Letter, Maria, Tell Laura I Love Her and Billy, Don't be a Hero -- which qualify for the group's repertoire on the basis of having bad lyrics that don't get better with time. Kevin and his wife Sue resided in Auckland. They had three sons together: Oscar, Tyrone and Willard.- Beulah Koale was born on 26 October 1991 in Auckland, New Zealand. Intelligent and luminous red-haired Lisa Harrow was born in Auckland, New Zealand, on August 25, 1943. A scholarship from the New Zealand Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council is what sent Lisa studying abroad.
Accepted by the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, she later was invited to become a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and, in her very first season (1969), portrayed "Olivia" opposite Judi Dench in "Twelfth Night". Assorted RSC credits included "Desdemona" in "Othello", "Anne Boleyn" in "Henry VIII" and "Portia" in "The Merchant of Venice". Earning a distinct reputation over time, she scored other successes with her "Juliet" opposite John Hurt's "Romeo", her "Eliza" in "Pygmalion", and as "the Queen" in "The Eagle has Two Heads", directed by actress Susannah York.
In mid-career, Lisa began to grace occasional films. She appeared opposite Glenda Jackson in the Italian-made film The Devil Is a Woman (1974) [The Tempter], for which she won the Variety Club's "Most Promising Newcomer" award, and made a touching impression in the related period pieces All Creatures Great and Small (1975) and It Shouldn't Happen to a Vet (1976) [All Things Bright and Beautiful].
Lisa met New Zealand actor Sam Neill during filming of The Final Conflict (1981) [The Omen III] and the two developed an off-camera relationship that produced their son, Tim Neill, in 1983. More awards came Lisa's way as she matured into character roles. She won an Australian "Oscar" for her superb work in the powerful drama The Last Days of Chez Nous (1992) and the Grand Jury award at the Sundance Film Festival, as well as an Independent Spirit Award nomination, for her role in Sunday (1997).
A standout among Lisa's TV credits is Man and Superman (1982), which developed following the successful mounting of a stage production starring Peter O'Toole. She also gave a distinguished performance in the title role of the epic mini-series Nancy Astor (1982).
In 1997, she and her husband (from 1991), Dr. Roger Payne, a renowned whale-biologist by trade and documentary producer/director, moved to the United States with her son, Tim. Together, the couple share strong environmental concerns. In 2004, she authored the environmental handbook What Can I Do?

While in school, Chris appeared in numerous productions. He was ensemble in "Bugsy Malone" and "Little Shop of Horrors" (also on a European tour). Chris has also appeared as Bosun in "Return to the Forbidden Planet", Roger in "Grease", Ralph in "The Lord of the Flies", Joseph in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and in 2003 made a last-minute appearance, stepping in as Thenardier in "Les Miserables", when a cast member had taken ill. With the Youth Theatre, Chris has played Edmund in "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe"; chorus roles in "My Fair Lady", "Whistle Down the Wind" and "The King and I" and Harry / Young Ebenezer in "Scrooge".
In August 2000, he auditioned for and landed the role of Percy Weasley in the "Harry Potter: movie series, which was the beginning of his professional on-camera acting career. Chris made his professional stage debut in "Jack and the Beanstalk" at Norwich Theatre Royal. He has since been splitting his time between films, television and stage.

John played the role of Bones in an episode of "Mataku", before his breakout role in the hit children's television series, "Power Rangers S.P.D." as Commander Anubis 'Doggie' Cruger, the S.P.D. Shadow Ranger. This was a notable role for John, as he was the only actor in the series to play both the voice actor and the suit actor of Doggie Cruger. In the next season of Power Rangers, "Power Rangers Mystic Force", John returned to the franchise to play Daggeron, the Solaris Knight. John is the only actor to portray the role of two different mentors that were also Power Rangers. This was possible for the series, since his role as Daggeron was portrayed as a human, and not a voice, nor suit actor (aside from the normal ADR process for his character).
After his time on Power Rangers, John moved on to the hit New Zealand soap Opera series "Shortland Street", as the character: Colin 'Dollar' Laws. He also portrayed the character of Wellness Attendent #1 in the series "This is Not My Life", and Timbo in the television series "Go Girls." Tui struck gold yet again, portraying the character Chief Petty Officer Walter 'The Beast' Lynch.
Since then, John's career only went up, as he was offered the role of Bolg in the beloved film franchise "The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies," to which he also played the suit actor for, giving much credit to his experience as Doggie Cruger on Power Rangers S.P.D. John has also been a part of other large film franchises, such as the character Korso in "Solo: A Star Wars Story" and Kal Hobbs in "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw." Most recently, John has had roles in New Zealand films, such as Moses in the movie "Savages", Baron To'a in "The Legend of Baron To'a" and Wade in the comedy film, "Paper Champions."
John portrayed the character of real life wrestler Afa Anoa'i, one of two members of the professional wrestling duo, The Wild Samoans, in the 2021 television series, "Young Rock", telling the story of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's youth and being raised around his professional wrestling family.
When he's not filming, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Liyah, and their four children. - Actor
